God thinks BIG!

The dream God has for your life is far beyond your imagination! The Designer of the universe has crafted a destiny for you that will take your breath away. Maybe you haven’t known this or maybe your life has been under too great attack for you to realize, but your God-given destiny is real. Or maybe you want to stop reading this post right now because you have too many arguments against what I just said; life has taught you something terribly different. The only thing I ask of you is that you hear me out before you make any judgments about my statements. Yes, you didn’t get to choose the family you were born in or the circumstances of your life. Yes, life has been hard on you and you doubt where God has been all this time. Maybe nobody close to you has ever believed in you and so, you never dared to believe in yourself either. You might have been afraid to be different because you’re afraid heredity will have the final word, no matter how hard you try. I have something you need to hear: heredity cannot stand in the way of God’s destiny for you. There will be attacks, horrific attacks; but these have no claim over your life. Think of all the times when everything seemed to go against you, have you ever wondered why? If you’re like me, you probably have. Satan will always try to destroy you before God will place your feet on higher ground because He knows what you can become and fears it. When times get rough in your life, you should think of them as signaling the prosperity, growth, and favor that awaits you from God. As long as you put all your faith in God, He will give you victory over the enemy and will turn what was made to destroy you into blessings. Dare to dream like you’ve never dreamt! Dare to step into the destiny God created for your life. Dare to believe!

Seasons of the heart.

It feels like fall inside.

I feel deeply inspired by the changing of seasons. When I opened my window and felt the cold air against my face, I couldn’t help but realize that fall is here. A new season was born; it’s time for transformation. My heart is strongly aware of this change and I am living it out through every emotion, trying to absorb the essence. It’s beautiful when you look outside and notice how the trees are letting go of their leaves and embracing the need of being reborn. I love the way God created the seasons, as a way to make us understand the truth that life is a constant change, an ongoing transition. We tend to get so used to the world around us that we forget to notice it’s beauty. Nature will always tell you a lot about God’s personality; the way He thinks, feels, and does the things that He does. Look closely and you will see God’s imprint on the leaves that gently touch the ground in obedience to His command. It’s so wonderful to see how everything surrounding you responds to our Creator’s voice without any hesitation. The heart goes through it’s own seasons and they are not much different than the seasons we all know. Autumn is a time to let go of anything that holds you back from being the person that God created you to be. So let every leaf of remorse, guilt, and shame fall off from your shoulders as you accept the new life that God is waiting to give to you with arms open wide. God wants to awaken you to a new beginning. Are you ready to embrace it?

Are you ready to hear it?

God desires a relationship.

Yes, you’ve heard that right. God’s ultimate desire is for you to have a relationship with Him. Did you ever take some time to observe that we all relate to one another in some way? You have a relationship with you family, your relatives, your friends, your neighbors..and the list could go on and on. At the center of creation God placed Adam and Eve, and blessing them, they became a family in God’s eyes. The two had a relationship with each other, carefully planned by God. A moment after He created the man, God understood the man’s need for another human being. God gave Eve to Adam as a beautifully crafted half, and even though she fit perfectly with Him in all the beauty of creation; God made sure to leave a deep desire for Himself in both of their hearts. God places a heavy importance on relationship; that’s why we are wired to have relationships with each other. Even right after birth, a baby longs for his mother’s touch and the warmth of her breast against his soft cheek. Just as much as a baby needs nourishment, he also needs his mother’s relationship with him; she gives the baby a sense of security by offering her love to him. Take that need and multiply it by eternity; that’s how much your Creator desires to have a deep, meaningful relationship with you every day of your life. He made sure to leave that desire burning inside your heart for a purpose. God knew that one day, you will come to realize that no relationship in your life will be able to satisfy your deepest need. He made you the crown of all creation and gave everything to you. God places great importance on you. Ever since He began His creation, His strongest desire was for you to have a relationship with Him. It still is and it will always be; just like the desire in your heart for His everlasting embrace.
