Do you want to know how the title of my blog came to be?
Here’s a little explanation.
I decided to name it “The Eyes of My Heart” after reading a book called THE EYES OF THE HEART by Tracie Peterson. This book touched my heart in so many powerful ways and its teachings will always stay with me. I believe that it’s really important for everyone of us to look at life through the eyes of our hearts in order to truly understand what’s going on. There’s just so much more than what we can see with our physical eyes. God can only be “seen” when we open our hearts and look deeper. When we live with an awakened heart, we sense God in a whole new dimension. This “awakening” of the heart can only be done by Christ and it’s the most amazing experience of all! Christ made this awakening possible through His death on the cross. He gave us a chance to become a new creation in Him and to be alive to God!! The forgiven life is so beautiful and it is characterized by complete surrender to Christ, which results in true fulfillment and joy! I write with these thoughts in mind, and I hope that you will find truth, inspiration, and hope as you read my blog! The subtitle of my blog is called ”A journey towards life.” I subtitled it this way because I wanted it to reflect the fact that I write with the purpose of helping myself and readers find the life that God intended for us to live. A life that is truly abundant and radical, one that is completely set apart from the world and hidden in Christ. I pray that God will bless both you- the reader, and myself as we journey towards finding that life!
